I know many people who watch and follow this person, she recently appeared in NJ at the NJ PAC Center to a sold-out crowd and many of the participants were Catholics who wanted to talk to the dead, mostly their dead family members. They state that Theresa does not conjure up the dead, the dead come to her so the Catechism doesn't apply and they stated further that her priest was on her show. I can't verify that but I don't think any priest would be dumb enough to appear on her show. If it is true then his bishop should be notified.

I have watched many episodes of that show with great interest. Yes, I believe she is seeing the ‘other side’, but I have recently been very much questioning who it is that she is really seeing? I am more and more leery of WHAT - not WHO - is providing the messages from the other side? I honestly believe people are being deceived. I also think she truly believes she is conveying messages from peoples ‘loved ones’. She is being used to deceive all who watch that show. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m seriously beginning to believe I am right.
I remember that Sean Hornbeck’s family was so distraught, they visited a well know medium (whose last name is brown, IIRC), and she told them their son was dead, and his remains were near a body of water.
I think she’s just a flat out liar, but the Hornbeck’s were so desperate for answers, they believed her.

Now a true example of 1John4 in action.
I have told this true experience before but this should never be taken lightly. My friends wife is into tarot reading. On the way to helping him move from an upstate rental house she was playing with the tarot cards. I prayed before hand about going because I knowing of her " new age" practices. While she was in the back of the car she decides to read me. My eyes are turned up. I declare do not read me. Please! She decides no I am already doing it. Well! I plead the blood of Christ over her. " I cover the Blood of Christ to make it null and void. " I did it loud but firm.
As I am doing this a car is out of control from the ramp on the NY state Thruway coming right towards us. It goes on the grass then comes toward us. I am calm because of my prayers that morning. The Holy Spirit has me boldly speaking the blood of Christ over the car. It straightens out into the lane finally after swerving.
My friend’s wife is also into spellcasting. So later under the Holy Spirit 's leading I had to confront her at the house.

I hope Mr. Caputo will be amenable to where she will (probably) be spending eternity.

I could eliminate or alleviate any sort of suffering…” He goes on to say that he knew it was off because it wasn’t from God. He wasn’t living a changed life for God. He was “quick to anger, slow in pardoning, easily resentful, and given to take offense at nothing.” Realizing he wasn’t being gifted by God with abilities, he knew the only other source was the devil himself. His “gifts” were not divine from God to do ‘good’ but rather diabolical and from Satan! He'd been deceived! As soon as he was prayed over and asked God for help the “gifts” disappeared.
That is VERY interesting, especially in light of all the *miracles* we see from televangelists.
I know of many Christians who think that all healing is from God because the devil couldn't heal. There is a denial in Christianity today that the enemy is capable of any good and that *If it's good, it's from God, and if it's bad, it's not* but that just does not square with Scripture.
I think one of Satan's best ploys has been to convince the church that all miracles validate the preacher as being from God, but one look at the lifestyles of people like Benny Hinn, and you know that can't be true.
