Wow....all I can say is I am stunned at this "revelation".
I was a Catholic for 50 years, until I began to read and study my Bible. That intense study led me away from all religion and now empowered by the Holy Spirit I now worship Christ in total freedom.
Anyone who truly takes time to read and absorb the book of Galations would want to immediately run away from all religion, and live life instead in absolute freedom in Christ.
As for Catholicism, it is bondage....as are all religions. Some are just worse than others.

I’m LCMS, and I don’t care for the arrogant Papist types gratuitously bashing Luther or Lutheranism, or Protestantism in general; however, I’m not fond of the Protestant chauvinists slamming Catholicism either. In all the most important areas-there being one G*d, that G*d is a Triune deity consisting of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirt, that the Son was born of a virgin human woman, that He grew up, was crucified, died and three days later rose from the dead, there isn’t a baby’s hair’s worth of differences between Catholicism and Protestantism. We’re ALL followers of G*d and Christ. The Thirty Years War is over, and such petty infighting could only benefit Satan.
He is just as ignorant of Catholic dogma as he is of the creation of the universe.
The church is open to criticism on various grounds, as is any human institution. The problem with people like MacArthur is that their biases are based on false premises.
If for some reason you want to mount a credible attack on Catholicism, you will have to do better than to heave up this anachronistic palooka.
Since there are so many articles posted here arguing that only Catholic doctrine is correct, and then many articles like those posted today that criticize Protestants, it’s hard to understand why there are posters here who object to the posting of any articles critical of Catholicism. The religion moderator has made clear that no particular Christian belief is held or to be favored here.
Just on the matter of Mary, it was sad to see how the Pope prayed to her exactly as a Christian would to God Himself. From what I see, Catholics overlook this because they believe since they believe idolatry is wrong that they can’t be doing it, and that it’s what God wants because their leadership, who do God’s will, has said so, so it isn’t idolatry. But it all comes down to their leadership clearly abusing their authority to institute idolatry. Moses was denied entry into the Promised Land because he brought water from a rock by hitting a stone (still a miracle) rather than speaking to it, because God wanted all (CONT’D)
all the glory. He will not share it with creatures. He is alone is God.
At a time when Christians are under attack from the radical left and radical Islam around the globe, it should amaze me that some Protestants continue to hate on Catholics. But sadly it comes as no surprise. Because the small minds and hateful hearts of some who profess to be Christian continue to do the devil’s work.
If Christians don’t join together against our real enemies, we shall all be beheaded separately.

The gift of prophesying is to be preferred before that of speaking strange tongues.

Where also not, that the Latin, used in our liturgy, is so far from being a strange or unknown tongue, that it is perhaps the best known tongue in the world.
[21] In the law it is written: In other tongues and other lips I will speak to this people; and neither so will they hear me, saith the Lord.
