The IDF would only limit Christian speech in the ranks if it were irresponsibly interfering with defense operations. Things are never perfect but Christians are welcome in Israel and any disagreements are worked out as best possible. Contrast this with how Christians are routinely excluded or murdered and churches bombed in a number of Islamic countries. Satan’s millions of little earthly agents desperately need to be connected instead with the one true God. This is the number one priority on planet earth today, IMHO it is a glaringly obvious and absolutely critical calling for the Church ( as well as anything the Israelis can do to help)

This is a NEW ruling, we should be celebrating, instead you seemed upset with it, until now when you suddenly claimed that it was already the policy, which obviously isn’t true.
This is a great breakthrough for Christian religious freedom in Israel, we should be happy as punch.
I am happy. You misunderstand ( or the article does) the prior situation. No army allows speech that interfere with defense operations. We have to acknowledge that there are some zealous missionary types who may sometimes do this, just as we occasionally see zealous missionary types who interfere with normal civilian workplace functions. These people, bless them, do neither God nor any of us any honor. Fortunately, they are a small minority and most evangelists observe reasonable decorum and do their crusading at appropriate times and places (like, coffee break). The same basic standard will still be maintained in the IDF if only because it has to be thus. And yes, it’s great that the basic free speech principle is affirmed in Israel. May it be similarly reaffirmed — or restored— in the USA !!! Which right now is purging Christian chaplains in the military or trying yo force them to perform or accept anti-Biblical rites like homosexual “marriages” My comments are trying to focus on priorities and not dispute you. I supportr Christian speech, especially as the article indicates “(when) meeting with soldiers in an informal and routine social activity.” ... that is, where it does not interfer with military operations or readiness.
How about we try to get a similar ruling here in USA, since Obama is trying to stifle or suppress all Christianity or Christian expression (both in the military and without).
OR, while applauding the Israeli Christian free speech rule described in the article, how about we try to get our USA government re-Transformed back to supporting the good guys in the world, including most Christian countries, and to STOP supporting and arming the worst Islamonazi thugs who are not only inclinded to suppress Christian speech, but actually murder Christians and bomb churches...

You should start a vanity thread on what you seem interested in.
1. A Remnant, that He has always saved in each generation, will still only come by faith, by the preaching and hearing of the Gospel. We support missionaries whose children were to either sign up for military service to stay in the country, or leave. All three of his children signed up. Now they can speak freely to lead the Remnant to faith.
2. Grab yourself a copy of Voice of the Martyrs. There is a map of which nations of the world are hostile to the Gospel.
3. There is a list of countries (not necessarily in the VOM mag) that are hostile to the Gospel asking for prayer for missionaries in those counties...by 1st initial and last name. The list is in the hundreds of thousands.
I am just trying to understand what you are saying. Are you saying that some people will enter into heaven because of their genetic makeup and not because they put faith in Jesus Christ? Or are you saying that every Jewish person will come to faith in Christ Jesus? Are you saying that if a Jew denies that Jesus is the son of God that they have eternal life?

Well...your silence to the question posted to you indicates that it what you believe - that for those with Jewish blood, that is their way of salvation, and not through the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
That is what I wanted to know and you have answered by not answering.

Your priorities apparently are not the same as those of the Apostle Paul:
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile."
Having lived in Israel, I certainly believe that the Gospel must be shared with great sensitivity and respect for the Jewish people. However, the view that any people do not need to hear the Gospel is unbiblical.
Yes, He has done so wonderfully, and we need to pray for the "peace of Jerusalem." I also believer that Christians should support Israel, for many reasons. For one, unlike many countries, Israel protects religious minorities, including Christians.
However, you are confusing God's protection of the Jewish people (as He watches over His people everywhere) with the universality of the Gospel: "For there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
Please refrain from self-righteously dictating where Christians should go or where they should not go. The answer to that question is: Everywhere!
And, BTW, pray tell to which countries you have gone, risking life and limb to share the Gospel? [FWIW I fall short as a Christian in many ways, but did live for years among Arab Muslims in the ME, engaged in ministry]
