Catholic doctrine is based on the Word of God.

Occasionally, that is very true. They get lots of things exactly right. It's all the non-Biblical additions that obscure the simplicity of the Gospel. Often Catholic doctrine is based on paganism, sadly.

The Church is the truth!

Christ is the Truth.
