The Ark of the Covenant is considered a prefiguration of Mary. The crowned woman is Revelations, clothed with the sun, is thought to be Mary by the Church as well.

Well, therein lies the difference of opinions.
But nobody can say that the Church has no biblical basis regarding Mary.
