Jesus did not connive His relationship, with Peter. The Church did, and with the chair of Peter, as herald- has connived in great detail, to assume control of all natural human beings. Nothing to do with Jesus or Peter, except by the base nature of all things possible. Right? The lower is the higher, with some folks. What a grand view?!
I disagree with your own personal interpretation of Scripture (YOPIOS) for Christ proclaims that Peter is the Rock on which he will build his church. Also giving him the Keys to the Kingdom.
This has been interpreted down through the ages since Christ ascended into heaven and promised all the apostles that he would be with them always.
