Much like the author, I was a dispensationalist and never knew it - although I detest all labels as the enemy uses them to divide Christians. I don’t see how its possible to rightly divide the Word without knowing the proper dispensation. Much religious error in the time of Paul was the result of attempting to apply what was/is meant for Israel to the Church, the Body of Christ. That continues to this day.
My understanding of the subject was greatly aided by numerous writers, but Clarence Larkin, and E W Bullinger, the latter especially, challenged me in this area and shattered much of the religious traditions/nonsense I had learned growing up and religious classes in college.
Please add me to the ping list since this is an area of interest for me. Thanks!
In my own experience I was in agreement with the Reformed on most things, but when we got into eschatology and Israel I found I waas of the Dispensational view.
