“and yet the star-free picture (unless you count 1990s TV hunks Kevin Sorbo and Dean Cain as big stars)”
Call me old fashion, I like both those guys!

What's behind the surprising use of the word surprising in describing a Christian movie?
Wife & I saw it yesterday at the local theater. The showing was packed.
We really enjoyed it. We don’t go out much because there’s really nothing to go see at the movies anymore so this was great. The whole audience clapped at the end.
Man, is that a biased review!
“Christians are supposedly shouted down and punished for voicing Biblical dogma.”
“reinstated Phil Robertson before he missed an episode or a royalty check”
“the current zeitgeist among some Christians, the ones who feel persecuted by secularism.”
Why not review the movie, rather than spend the entire article arranging the PC landscape on the stage?
“God’s Not Dead” was written by Cary Solomon and Chuck Konzelman, two very talented devout Christians who walk the walk!
I don’t know if Hollywood is going to make movies that is true to the bible. Knowing those Libs, if they do a story on Adam and Eve, it would be a NC17 rating, with sex scenes.
Friedrich Nietzsche, 1882: “God id dead.”
God, Aug. 25. 1900: “Nietzsche is dead.”
As you might expect, the critics ratings at Rotten Tomatoes indicate:
The critics hated it, at 40%.
The public liked it, at 86%.
Just saw it. Great movie for teens and young adults. Make it a “movie night” and then discuss the issues.
Saw it yesterday.
Theater was full and everyone clapped at the end.
Loved it and highly recommend to everyone.
