Thanks for posting, very interesting.
No offense to Dr. Kennedy, but I’m quite not interested in whether or not he’s a Christian. Quite frankly, anymore I’m too busy concerning myself with my own Christian walk. I don’t have the time for such judgements.
It’s a shame a piece of inspiring history as the OP of this thread offers has started to be overshadowed by such a trivial concern. Again, with all due respect to Dr. Kennedy. His fate is sealed now apparently anyway.
My advice to anyone reading this is to read the OP, and move on contemplating the witness of St. Patrick. I think that would be a good use of time.
***Did he use them to further spread the gospel? ***
Back in 2005 I contacted Dr. Kennedy’s ministry looking for material to give to Soldiers going in harm’s way.
They sent me boxes of books (500 books IIRC) and CDs to hand out to these deploying warriors, all free of charge.
So to answer that question, I would say yes he did.
My intention was NOT to make this thread a debate about who is or is not a heretic or who is or is not spreading a false gospel, much less to make this a Roman Catholic vs Protestant thread.
I wanted this to be a celebration of St. Patrick on this day that celebrates his life and legacy.
Unfortunately, threads like these often get hijacked.
Let me be clear: I believe you and certainly don’t blame you for the direction this thread has taken.
God bless,
