So there’s liberal bishops in the Catholic Church, and includes Dolan. Old news. The Catholic Church is not changing the Word of God. Homosexuality is condemned through-out the Bible.

As Pope marks first year, Italian archbishop says the ‘new paradigm’ opens Church to homosexuality

So the Church now serves Satan instead of God?????

Sounds like the Catholic Church is getting ready to join Protestant denominations on the ash heap of history.

and I am convinced that it is time for Christians to open themselves to diversity.

What does this even mean? Surely it should not mean changing God’s word to suit human desires.......

Again we see the Catholic church straining to dump scripture and join the homosexual movement.

There is simply no way that Cardinal Dolan spoke out of turn previously. And there is no way the archbishop of Lucca in Tuscany is simply spouting off. I believe these statement are being deliberately made for a specific purpose.

I believe the Catholic church is intent on declaring sodomy as being acceptable. Are Catholics 6 months away from Francis declaring this or 2 years away? That's seems to be the only question at this point. This is a coordinated attack designed from the Vatican to move the worldwide Catholic into embracing homosexuality.

How tragic, but how utterly revealing of the Catholic church. When the Catholic church does this, the facade will be dropped for all to see what the Catholic church is, and that is, something not built on the Word of God.

Where Francis suggested that the “moral edifice of the Church” could “collapse like a house of cards,”

Once of the worst statements (among many awful statements) he's uttered. Implies that the gates of hell could prevail against the Church. His modus operandi appears to be to tiptoe around unpopular teachings rather than risk alienating the world. At a time when Christians mired in the lies and confusion wrought by the Culture of Death desperately need to hear a clear and authoritative voice addressing the filth that surrounds us in every quarter, Pope Francis is off on a tangent talking about "joy".

Is somebody going to clarify that NEITHER GOD OR THE CATHOLIC CHURCH ENDORSE HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOR?

“In my life as a pastor,” he added, “I have seen and experienced many situations … and I am convinced that it is time for Christians to open themselves to diversity PERVERSITY.”

Fixed it to what his real intentions are.

We know how that “new paradigm” ends: broken lives, arrests, prison, lawsuits, bankruptcy, loss of faith, loss of the faithful.

My concern with this whole situation comes from a couple of things which the Pope has said about Scripture. I have no calling to ordained ministry so I'm happy to pass that by and defer to those who do have the calling when it comes to pastoral methods, outreach, etc. However, on two occasions he has expounded on passages of Scripture and given interpretations which are entirely novel and contrary to tradition. On one occasion, when discussing the passage where Jesus rebukes the Apostles, he said that Jesus was not really angry. He was "pretending". So Jesus "pretends", apparently. The second occasion was when he was discussing the miracle of the loaves and fishes and the feeding of the five thousand. He stated that the real miracle was not that of multiplication but that of "sharing" in which, as a result of prayer, the gathered crowd took care of each other. This reduces the miracle of Jesus to the lame "everybody brought food and shared it" story, much beloved of social justice activists.

The thought occurred to me at that point that if the Pope is prepared to monkey with sacred Scripture, then he'll have no problem monkeying with the Church also. I see many recent developments in this light. Each on its own in isolation can be interpreted in a favorable or unfavorable light. Viewed collectively, a pattern emerges.
