Yesterday, the Archbishop of Lucca (Tuscany, Italy) received a group of religion journalists for his annual chat, and the talk was moderated by a famous Vaticanist in Italian public television and radio network RAI, Raffaele Luise.
The evening concluded with a debate in depth on the matter of homosexuality. Both Luise and the archbishop praise, in substance, the opening of the Church regarding gays and de facto couples. Particularly for Luise, it is necessary on this theme, "a cultural revolution, that contemplates the fact that homosexuality is not a deviancy, but a human attitude, and not just that, considering that almost 500 natural species display homosexuality." "The new paradigm - says bishop Castellani - is that every diversity is richness. In my life as a parish priest, I saw and lived so many situations [and he describes a few]; and I am convinced that the time has come for Christians to open up to diversity."

Feckless a-hole.
It will not be you who will be doing the excommunicating...It will be them...
Maybe some of you will learn to appreciate why Martin Luther took the direction he did...
If the religion turns you either turn with it or you keep going straight on your own...Looks like you guys may be put in that position sooner than later...
>> Article: “almost 500 natural species display homosexuality.”
Sure. What other ‘justifiable’ traits do these species exhibit? How many species display rape? How many species kill while having sex? How many species don’t display homosexuality?
Yeah, it’s only the Catholic degenerates advancing the homo agenda. /s
You know what? I don’t care that others are also guilty. All I care about is what is going on in the Catholic Church or, rather, what’s supposed to be the Catholic Church.
Anything, anything that would get gays out of the limelight and get them to stop waving their private parts in everybody else’s face. I’m sick and tired of “gays.”
Well it's the Catholic degenerates who are advancing the Catholic homo agenda...
The sheep are being separated from the goats.
Now, if we could only separate the wolves from the sheep. It’s hard to do when the wolves have been advised to “smell like the sheep”.
I’m a Christian woman who actually lived as a lesbian about 20 years ago, but praise the Lord, He delivered from it. I also lived in an 80% Catholic (15% mainline Protestant) area all my life until the Lord recently led me to move to the “Bible belt.”
From all I know about God’s Word, the Catholic Church and the “homosexual agenda,” it seems like it may have been behind Catholicism for who knows how long, getting it to incorporate heresies (like that some believers are saints, so that the best-known understanding of the words contradicts the Bible’s) and making what’s relatively unimportant vital (numerous conclusions about Mary, among other things). The only thing supporting these beliefs has been the idea that the priesthood can’t go wrong.
I'm with you. I just wish the Pope and his curia would also get tired of them.
The position of The Church hasn't changed. Rogue progressives are doing their best to convince you otherwise.
That’s where the gifts of the Holy Spirit come into play. Those who follow them will turn away from these false shepherds. These times are when the virtues give strength to those who practice them.
Bump
Pay attention. Once it is accepted it will not be an “alternative” it will be the supreme law. They do not practice tolerance any more than a Muslim practices dhimmitude. Tolerance is only a tactic and the suckers fall for it.
Good for you to see the light
Thank God...Those who seek Jesus instead of a religion will find him...
Unbelievable! Apparently the church has been infected with so many queer clergy, that they are now saying homosexuality is not a sin. Recently, Cardinal Dolan applauded and practically congratulated the homosexual football player who came out.Yes, exactly! "Bravo!" was his sad exclamation. (Michael Sam, Jason Collins and the gayification of professional sports) -- And Matt Dooley, a University of Notre Dame tennis player, also was welcomed with applause and a "parade," when he recently "came out." Et tu, Matthew? Notre Dame's double fault in Matt Dooley's gay parade
No, that’s what Raffaele Luise, the RAI talk show celebrity, is espousing.
Depends who yhou mean by "they." "They" the queer clergy (some of them) may be saying homosexual conduct is not a sin, but the Church is not saying that, and never will.
