I’m not LDS but I hope they win this one. It’s a question of what is right, and discriminating against good people because of their church rules is a terrible idea.
So, do you think it is right to discriminate against church members who do not pay a "full tithe" which is required in order to take part in the arcane mormon temple rituals which are necessary to gain "exaltation" (the mormon term for salvation)?
Only 15% of mormons currently are "worthy" of entering these temples...the rest are doomed to eternity in "lower" kingdoms in mormon doctrine. No salvation for them.
This isn’t the USA...the Brits have their laws and the LDS failed to follow them by being highly exclusionary and discriminating to their own members, notwithstanding the general public.
The temples are not places of worship, they engage in rituals that are reserved for those who meet the criteria for being granted access.
Render unto Caesar...
Your point might be valid in the US, this is the UK
//discriminating against good people because of their church rules is a terrible idea.//
Which is exactly what the LDS church does in its temples and why they have been judged against to pay local property taxes (at an 80% discount btw).
