Valentines Day A Gift From GOD!
TANACH | 1 Adar 14, 5774 | Mordechi ben Avram

Posted on 02/14/2014 10:02:23 AM PST by Jeremiah Jr

This is what I've discovered and I have to bring something to the table! Enjoy!

The Hebrew sages have said that everything that ever was or ever will be is in the Torah, correct!

"Ben (son of) Bag Bag said: Turn the Torah over and over for everything is in it. Look into it, grow old and worn over it, and never move away from it, for you will find no better portion than it."

Even Valentines Day!

Shabbat Shekalim and Valentines Day, Cause and Effect

Valentines Day A Gift From G-D!

Note: I use the phrase 'soul mate' from the Zohar, I do know what a Twin Flame is.

There is a link between Soul Mates and Valentines Day. Here is some light.

First, some foundation.

Every week in the synagogue a different section of the Torah and Prophets are read and there are special readings for festivals and special Sabbaths.

Shabbat Shekalim (from Wikipedia)

Shabbat Shekalim ("Sabbath [of] shekels" שבת שקלים) read in preparation for Purim, requests each adult male Jew contribute half of a Biblical shekel for the upkeep of the Tabernacle, or mishkan (משכן). The Torah portion Exodus 30:11-16 (the beginning of Parasha Ki Tisa) is read.

Notice Half!

Exodus 30:11-16 JPS

11 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 12 When you take a census of the Israelite people according to their enrollment, each shall pay the Lord a ransom for himself on being enrolled, that no plague may come upon them through their being enrolled. 13 This is what everyone who is entered in the records shall pay: a half-shekel by the sanctuary weight — twenty gerahs to the shekel — a half-shekel as an offering to the Lord. 14 Everyone who is entered in the records, from the age of twenty years up, shall give the Lord's offering: 15 the rich shall not pay more and the poor shall not pay less than half a shekel when giving the Lord's offering as expiation for your persons. 16 You shall take the expiation money from the Israelites and assign it to the service of the Tent of Meeting; it shall serve the Israelites as a reminder before the Lord, as expiation for your persons.

Half

While reading Moshe Idel's book Kabbalah and Eros I happened on this note.

13 The numerical equivalent of sheqel like nefesh – soul, is 430. The reference to division of the meditator’s concerns between the sensory and intellective world, i.e., “half for you, half for God,” is to BT, Pesahim, fol. 68b.

Quoting R. Isaac of Acre.

So the gematria of shekel is 430, and the same for nefesh (soul).

But then I said to no one in particular, why would we give a half shekel? Wouldn't we give a whole one?

It was then that I caught a glimpse into the concept/source code of the soul mate.

Now for some in depth fun!

Gematria or gimatria (Hebrew: גימטריא/גימטריה‎ gēmaṭriyā) is a traditional Jewish system of assigning numerical value to a word or phrase, in the belief that words or phrases with identical numerical values bear some relation to each other, or bear some relation to the number itself as it may apply to a person's age, the calendar year, or the like.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gematria

Gematria, Hebrew math. Each letter is assigned a numeric value.

For example

Father, אָבִ , Alef (1) Beit (2) = 3
Mother, אִם, Alef (1) Mem (40) = 41
Child, יָּלֶד, Yud (10) Lamed (30) Dalet (4) = 44
Thus Father + Mother = Child

Very basic.

Half

The Sefer Zohar (Book of Brilliance) goes on at length on the creation/birth of souls, formed as a sphere male and female (See: Genesis 1:27 in the image of ELoHIM, male and female.) souls. The physical form of ADaM is created in Chapter 2:7.

We're divided above and we are born into this physical realm below.

Half

Well the gematria of shekel is 430 and the same for nefesh / soul.

So what is half of 430?

215, and Valentines Day falls out on, 214 (Feb. 14). More quantum mechanics then general relativity I'd say.

Half

Now there are 28 days in most February’s and Shabbat Shekalim falls out near most February 14ths. In 2014 due to the addition of an extra Adar (Hebrew year is lunar) Shabbat Shekalim occurs March 1st 2014 but the Torah portion that contains Exodus 30:11-16 falls out on February 15. The sabbath begins Friday night at sunset. I think it's going to be a very special Valentines Day in 2014.

These patterns echo throughout the universe, I'm just happy to notice them!

Cause and Effect!

Thus, Valentines Day could only be set in February and could only be set on the 14th!

Tikkun Olam (repair of the world) and finding our soul mate! That's why we're here.

New Covenant references.

Matthew 22
23 The same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Him and asked Him,24 saying: “Teacher, Moses said that if a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother. 25 Now there were with us seven brothers. The first died after he had married, and having no offspring, left his wife to his brother. 26 Likewise the second also, and the third, even to the seventh. 27 Last of all the woman died also. 28 Therefore, in the resurrection, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had her.”

29 Yeshua answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.

I've got to tell you I never liked this verse, till I found out that angels are as male and female souls that were never divided! So we will be reunited with our other half! Hallelujah!

And...

Matthew 19
4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”

What G-D joined together, not man! That verse is so abused.

Gotta run, and have a marvelous Shabbat Shekalim/Valentines Day!

Thank you,

Mordechi ben Avram
