Exclusive: Matt Barber explains how Jesus is both exclusive and inclusive
Youve heard it said that We are all Gods children. This rings flowery and nice.
Its an insidious lie.
Indeed, God both created and loves in a way most unfathomable everyone who ever lived. He wove us together in our mothers womb and numbered our every hair. But God the Father has only one begotten Son. The rest of us, in order to become one of Gods children, must be adopted in, by and through the One Who is the Son: Jesus Christ. Those who are not adopted are not children of God. Christ and Christ alone is the way, the truth and the life.
Indeed, to become a child of God, we must ask God through Christ to adopt us. We mustnt just believe upon Him for Even the demons believe that (see James 2:19) but, rather, we must also accept Him. We must follow Jesus, the one true God, as our only God. But to all who believed him and accepted him (Jesus), he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12)
Dont believe? Dont accept? You have no right to become a child of God.
And thats unholy hell.
Im not here to question God. I can neither fully understand nor explain why what He says it is so. I can only convey to you that He unmistakably, unequivocally and without stuttering, says it is so.

Amen. I wish more people would read and study the Bible.
Indeed. As Christ Himself said: I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
Not even the daughter of an uncontacted aboriginal in the deep Amazon who in all her life never heard of anything beyond the limits of the forest?
Or is she exempted?

**Indeed, God both created and loves in a way most unfathomable everyone who ever lived. He wove us together in our mothers womb and numbered our every hair. But God the Father has only one begotten Son.**
Yes, God creates and loves everyone and will wait and wait for that person to come to Him.
But some make other choices.
I have heard it said ... we are all God’s children, but unless you have accepted Christ, you are not a (prince / princess) of the Kingdom.
Ive heard it said that the utterly isolated sense Gods presence, and somehow manage to accept his sacrifice.
Nott being a bona fide theologian I dont know the precise mechanics.
The person who said such in contradiction to scripture would be wrong.
I am glad to see more emphasis lately on Truth, who is Christian, and salvation. We are living in days that are truly ungodly and we know that judgment is coming. We must stand firm in the truth of the Word of God and be both salt and light. Our culture will hate us for it, but better that we are hated for Righteousness sake, than for a false gospel, which is not truly good news at all, in the end.
According to Romans 1, she’s not exempted. Scripture is explicit on this point. Even without the gospel she is without excuse.
Too bad then, she’s judged for her ignorance and doomed by situation and random chance.
I believe the point that was being made was that while God breaths life into all of us (child of God), not all will participate in heaven.
It would be helpful to actually bring up scriptures that STATE “children.” That’s something I don’t see here. I see religious rumblings that sound oddly unspiritual. The claim as intended may be true but if so then is it too much to ask for scriptures that STATE “children.”
So she’s doomed to eternal hellfire, correct?
There is no random chance with God.
It’s reasonable enough to expect that God actually WILL behave in accordance with His revealed desires, and not let some theologian upstage Him. If someone would believe, then a missionary is dispatched.
That is one stoopit contrived article.
Does Matt get paid by the word?
We are all God’s children of free will and great capacity for good and evil.
God makes clear he loves us but, put karma here to weed out idiocy and there is an ultimate punishment for original sin.
I’ll caveat that Mistake-Loons are indeed some travesty put here to teach us the difference between love and hate.
...Or put it another way. What we see here of humanity is not all there IS to humanity. God can put people in whatever circumstances He needs them to be in.
Well it does seem a little ODD that an article that makes an assertion about children of God doesn’t actually cite any scriptures containing that phrase... and there are some.
Even if the ultimate conclusion is true... it’s like tracing shadows when one could trace the light.
wrong.
Those who have not had the opportunity to learn will be taught in the Lord’s Day.
She will then have the chance to decide if she wants to follow God, or Satan.
