Jesus turned over the tables of the moneychangers with righteous indignation. And we are made in God’s image. The sad part is those who condemn him are the one’s who need it the most.
Maybe it’s time to look inside, at what you have become and not what someone else is, because if you watch him then you should know he loves Jesus and ends every broadcast with an invitation to accept him. If you want hell, fire, and brimstone to to a local church that will give you that.
Pretty sure Jesus would be “overturning tables” when it comes to Osteen. But Jesus doesn’t hate Osteen and neither do I.
Does Jesus teach us to hate? Does Jesus teach us to judge and to condemn? Does He teach us to count and covet other people's money, possessions, talents and blessings?
I just don't see how that sort of thing fits with His teachings, especially with His Commandment to love our neighbors. Doesn't fit in too well with Mosaic law, either. That all sounds more like His enemy's stuff.
Personally, I have thrown far too many stones that ended up hitting me instead. I have too many trespasses to forgive as it is. I fear and worry that I'll be judged as I have judged.
Fwiw, my advice and caution to "my" self is to not let my mouth or my judgments condemn me.
Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.
I want redemption. Osteen doesn’t offer that.
What Osteenbots don’t see is that Osteen is preaching sin. It’s sin against yourself, sin-lite. It is nothing but self esteem fueled by greed.
His church has people with their Bibles open and not hearing the gospel. I fear for all of you who think this is what Christ preached.
What use do I have for someone who denies Jesus on national TV? None.
There has never been any denying of Jesus on TV...you are a sic puppy. ciao
