That list is the most pathetic defense of an evil organization I have ever seen. What ever caused you to believe that the fact that other organizations do something similar would ever vindicate or reduce the evil that the RCC has perpetrated? Just the fact that you post that list each time this subject comes up is sick. Shame on you.

How many of these other churches or clergy have had to pay over $2 billion to settle claims? Which ones have cases that stretch back decades - even centuries, since this has been going on for a LONG time in the Catholic Church? Which ones had to pay compensation to victims because the hierarchy covered up the abuse, refused to notify law enforcement, moved abusers to other parishes to escape the legal consequences and embarrassment, hushed up the parents and victims and continued to ignore the problem for so long? THAT, my dear, is the MAIN reason why these lawsuits have been filed.
