Father Jonathan Morris seems to be a regular on News pertaining to religious/spiritual matters.
Given that, the other side of the coin should appropriately be someone of similar office and title (equivalent to) Father Morris, and one which would be of GREAT APPEAL (Caps for emphasis only) in Eastern Europe.
In summation, having someone that was Eastern Orthodox would be a counterbalance, would give another viewpoint and increase the viewing audience.
You can’t get more Laissez-faire than that.
I don’t want them picking anyone just to fill a “protestant” slot.
Just pick someone with something cogent to say. If that’s Morris, then fine.
How can there be Laissez-faire when there is no chance for a free for all in the first place.
You like the sticky glue being there, thus ending any chance of Laissez-faire in this matter.
What you say may be true that Father Morris sounds so ecumenical and he usually stays away from RC doctrine.
It may be that Father Morris doesn’t know all that much of RC doctrine, that is, if he should be of the modernist persuasion that rather ran amuck after Vatican II, here in the West. The Eastern Orthodox are more immovable, so you might not care for that kind of intransigence of faith and ancient practice.
Just saying.
is she really hot and has great legs? then sure...
Sure! Eastern Orthodox priests were really cool hats!
FOX can afford more than one mic.
I’m pretty sure Fox is terrified of the repercussions. The order of Albino Monk Assassins might just kill everyone in the building.
Obviously.

“Im a Methodist...”
I salute your bravery for admitting that publicly around here :)
How about Ethiopian Orthodox, with gold-encrusted velvet vestments and a big fringed umbrella. We have them here in Charlotte; also Eritrean Roman Catholics, fwiw.

That’s your choice - mine would be to see more of Father Morris. I can say that, can’t I? He’s a great looking guy; an opinion of an old grandmother..
He seems to be doing fine.
“Would you like to see an Eastern Orthodox figure next to Father Morris on Fox News?”
Chalcedonian or non-Chalcedonian?
In communion with the Ecumenical Patriarch or not in communion with the Ecumenical Patriarch?
Old Calendarist or new calendarist?
Pro-ecumenism or anti-ecumenism?
Ethnophyletist or non-Ethnophyletist?
There are 65000 Protestant sects in USA How are you Gonna Rotate them all in?
How about a Coptic Orthodox priest too! Or a Hindu Holy Man, or a Buddhist Monk???

I know. Most FReepers think that we all hold homosexual orgies on Sunday morning as a sacrament.
For the record, I’m a “Renewal” Methodist and not a “Reconciling” Methodist (they’re the ones that would hold the homosexual orgies, if we weren’t there to stop them).
“Most FReepers think that we all hold homosexual orgies on Sunday morning as a sacrament.”
I tagged along to one of those Methodist summer retreats as a kid, because my best friend’s dad was the local Pastor. So, I know all the orgies are on Saturday night :)
The two largest denominations in America are Catholic, and Southern Baptist. Catholics vote democrat, Southern Baptists vote GOP by about 80%.
It would be nice for the conservative voting Evangelicals to have a voice somewhere.
You bet they can afford more than one mic. Thus, at times Morris can deal with spiritual/cultural issues, and other faith leaders can speak out at other times on Fox News. There could easily be many of them, each speaking in their turn...
