Secretary of State John Kerry said the President was looking forward to visiting the popular new leader of the Roman Catholic Church at the Vatican. Kerry did not say when the trip would take place. Place your bets folks, place your bets! Will he or won't he receive communion?

Everything and everyone falling into the reverse-Midas field of Oblowfly is lessened to some degree by that contact. Even hardcore lefties from his first term slunk away diminished, their careers bottled up. Too many to name. And you don’t hear them in publication praising him in any way, cheering him on either. Only those who still think they have careers faintly continue to offer tepid support. He’s a vampire.

Maybe Obama wants to explain why he closed the US Embassy to the Vatican... No... That might make sense.Obama didn't close the Vatican Embassy. He moved their offices from a house in a neighborhood at the other end of Rome to the same compound that holds the embassy to Italy. There's still an embassy and an ambassador, and the old building wasn't on Vatican grounds.

Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden took communion at the Vatican, and met with their church leader.

My, how Christian of you.
The inability to accept that your leader is flawed is reminiscent of another religion.
