Hands down the best Bible preacher I have ever heard.
I haven’t heard him in a while now but as I recall he was a solid Bible teacher.
It may be just as well in that TBN is not reputable in terms of what they peddle.
I’ve found it questionable or odd that legitimate teachers are on that Network. It can either provide some sort of legitimacy for the TBN charlatans, or taint pastors with solid teaching with the TBN stench.
Not only was he simply a great speaker, but he did not mince words. No prosperity gospel from him or tepid watered-down swill. His stage presence was unlike any other. I rank him ahead of Billy Graham, IMO.
Why does he need to pay TBN? Put it on Youtube for free.
How much do they pay TBN to carry their show, did someone make a higher offer on that slot?

My 91 year old Dad would literally use his remote to turn Love Worth Finding on each Sunday even the week of the day he went to be with Jesus right before Christmas. He couldn’t hear but he certainly could read the closed captioning. Rogers early broadcasts in my opinion helped the TBN viewership. I have no idea who is replacing the Broadcast but Adrian Rogers was a true patriarch of the faith.

Good idea but the millions of viewers who don’t use computers need to be considered.
Adrian Rogers was my pastor for many many years, so I have a lot of stories about him. His impact on my life and on my family was incalculable. I can attest that he walked the walk in his personal life. He was a man of tremendous faith, wisdom, and integrity. My last conversation with him happened when he was dying from cancer and it was the day one of my daughters was being baptized. By God’s providence, I decided to cut through the church garden and bumped into Dr. Rogers a few minutes before the service was to start. When he realized she was about to be baptized he prayed the sweetest prayer for her. He died a couple of months later.
It is online for free. But they broadcast on thousands of outlets around the globe, too.

____________
I don’t have a clue but we will have to wait and see the ministry’s replacement.
That does not speak well of TBN to drop someone as solid as him.
I bet we would at least recognize one another. I’m no longer at Bellevue either. We left the year after Dr. Rogers died. I’m still a bit sad each time I pass the church.
