Is this the Virgin?

That picture was taken by a little Binger age 45, who is an Intel Executive and a photography freak. He was here two weeks ago. That is indeed the Virgin River as it flows out of Zion National Park. He came here the weekend before CES opened in Vegas.

That morning he got up at 6:00 am to go to that spot at first light. Nice we are 12 miles east of Zion.

I jumped in that river back in 1998. It was so cold I thought I was going to freeze! And that was in August!

If I had known about the Thunderbird Foundation I would have stopped by for some coffee, but that was before I had internet, or a FReeper.

The only other Utah river I was in was the Colorado back in 1955, Moab.
