Micah pleaded, "Mom and Dad, please read the New Testament." We commenced. As I read, I became increasingly consumed by reading about the God of grace. I barely ate or slept. It's all I wanted to do.

You forgot what I told you quite some time ago that I was one of the major water dunkers in that fine place. A VACATION it was not. Worked 60, yes SIXTY hours a week.I WAS AND STILL AM PROUD OF MY PIONEER HERITAGE. It's the religion part that bothers me. And, I am very proud that I figured it all out at a very young age about fifty years ago.

On the other hand this nineteen year old farm boy from Utah learned a few more things, namely that there is more to life than bible pounding for religion, yes any religion including which ever one gets promoted here on FR.

and if one cannot figure this out they will continue with sanctimonious BOSOM BURNING (read emotion) proselyting that gets extremely tiresome. In my opinion folks who attempt to ascend in any religion do it because of failure to ascend in other arenas.

Still not answering, but fully expected as much..if the temple rites are Biblical, any mormon should be able to point them out...does God keep secrets on how we are to return to Him?

I guess so if you’re a mormon...but only the “elect” who are full tithe payers are permitted temple recommends. So in essence, what mormons are saying is this; not only are our temple rites “sacred” [read - SECRET], you need these to attain celestial exaltation [not the same as salvation], and in order to get these rites performed, one must be part of the “elect”.

It behooves us to put out small differences aside and unite together against a deadly enemy determined to destroy us all.

How does this statement account for 75,000 mormon missionaries going about the world trespassing on the properties of Christians and telling them their Christian faith is bogus and the only path to salvation is through arcane rituals in mormon temples?

These missionaries are not preaching "unison" but attempting to divide the Christian faith with their lies.

The Christian Jesus is not comparable to Joseph Smith even though mormons insist on trying to proclaim it.

Tell me then why did the curtain tear from the TOP to the BOTTOM?
So that no man could say, a man did that. I was from God, revealing the temple - IE no more secrets.
