The Christian faith has not been tried and found wanting. It has rather been found difficult and left untried. Chesterton
I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending. The story of Jesus is either the greatest event in history or the cruelest hoax. If it is a hoax, then the whole of the Christian message crumbles together with the hopes of those multitudes of lives built on his name. The apostle Paul said:
And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up; if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. -1 Corinthians 15:14-19 (NKJV)
But if the story is true, then this world has been hit with extraordinary news of earth-shaking consequences. Have you taken the trouble to decide which it is?
In a matter this weighty, it is in your interest to explore the truth or falsity of Christ's claims. Amazingly however, many people who don't believe have never bothered to explore the evidence in support of Jesus,[1] but to the contrary, often run away from it. At the same time, many Christians themselves are not sure, at bottom, whether the claims of their faith are solid. Is the Christian claim a hoax? Is it just wishful thinking? Or is it actually true?

You won’t get an answer on the denomination nor Bible version either. So I will assume JW.
I am glad you clarified the exact Hebrew word. If you did not you would have been given Psalm 82 as an answer:)
The word "equals" does not need to appear in the sentence. The point is that Jesus commanded His disciples to go into the world baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by their AUTHORITY. It would be extremely presumptuous for Jesus to equate His authority with that of the Father and Holy Spirit unless it was true.
What Bible version do you use?
Clearly not Mormon because we would have heard about Smith by now and the BOM. Maybe Oneness Pentecostal but then again they see Jesus as God while on earth. So my educated guess is JW.
True Christians accept the authority of Jesus Christ as God. However, you reject His authority as God, and as such judge yourself as not being Christians.
Why so secretive? What Bible version do you use. At least please give us the codex.
Was the Son of God created?
He did not equalize them! You did! They are the same in motivation...but that does not make them all equal!
wrong again..false Christians accept Jesus as God...very gullible ones too. That is a fact..one that you are blind to.
non-sequitor question to this topic.
If not for the divinely-inspired writings of St. Paul among other Scriptures, we would not have the clearly defined doctrine of the deity of Jesus Christ. Just where do you think the church GOT the idea from? You can go back to some of the earliest Christian leaders and read their own words to see that they most certainly DID believe in the Triune nature of the Godhead and the Deity of Jesus Christ.
The finest Christians I have known do not believe in the man made Trinity doctrine. Either you are repeating something you have been taught or your acquaintances are limited.
The finest Christians I have known quite strongly believe in the Biblical doctrine of the Trinity as it has been taught since Jesus arrived on earth. No one denies that people can be good people yet STILL believe in false doctrines. It is far better to believe God's word than the testimony of man.
I have not been secretive at all..I just don’t fit into what you wish..and I don’t answer questions that are a set up for your judgment. I actually have not been attending church...as I clearly told all here, I practice my silent prayers daily and it has blessed me tremendously. Jesus has some requirements...not to judge and for us to forgive as we are forgiven...he did not require us to attend a church made by man. Fact.
True Christians accept Jesus' AUTHORITY AS GOD, which you clearly reject.
maybe if you repeat that often enough, you will believe the lie better...but it won’t ever make it true.
There is another way to find out. Ask them their stance on female pastors and homosexual “marriage” I they deny that then you can eliminate Unitarian.
King James Bible
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
Fancy that, no man has seen God, including Doubting Thomas after the Resurretion. Neither Paul, or Peter or any of the Disciples ever saw God.
Yes it does. By the use of the same word used for God the Father 162 other times in the Old Testament.
>>Can the term mighty god be applied to a number of humans without indicating that they are part of a triune God?<<
No, it cant. Many people think they can use that gotcha but it doesnt work if you look at the Hebrew original of the words used of mighty one and mighty God. Heres the Greek for might one אֵ֣יל. Now here is the Greek for God אֵ֣ל. Notice the difference in the two words.
The correct understanding of the exact words used also helps understand where the doctrine of the Trinity comes from.
When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. Lord, he said, my servant lies at home paralyzed and in terrible suffering.
Jesus said to him, I will go and heal him.
The centurion replied, Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, Go, and he goes; and that one, Come, and he comes. I say to my servant, Do this, and he does it.
When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Then Jesus said to the centurion, Go! It will be done just as you believed it would. And his servant was healed at that very hour.

Yet Thomas said “My Lord and My God”
John 14, presented by many already, answers this as well.
