That’s my point. People keep using the statement “demons believe that God is” to somehow show that even demons believe to try to dispute the “believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved” statement. Demons did not believe “in” or “on” the Lord Jesus just as you don’t believe “in” those men. Believing “in” or “on” is not the same as believing “that”. It’s not splitting hairs. There is specific meaning to believing “on” the Lord Jesus Christ.
