I think that it is implied, seeing as how it was Jesus that said it.
But even taking it your way, I don’t see that our points are any different.
I believe in Hitler, and Satan too. Doesn’t mean that I will pattern my life after either one. I do try to pattern my life after Christ, though.
so I’m not really sure what the point you are trying to make is???
