Any of you celebrate this feast with your children? What sort of gifts do you give?

According to Palestinian Christians, Mar Nkoula (St. Nicholas) lived in a cave as a hermit for three years after visiting the holy places. In a vision Nicholas was told to return to Lycia. Years later an Orthodox Church was built over the hermits abandoned cave at Beit Jala, and Palestinians still commemorate this saint by giving gifts to children on December 19.I went to Israel with Catholic convert Steve Ray and his group in 2008 and we SAW this wonderful Orthodox Church.
NYer, you REALLY should save your shekels money and go there. From New York to Tel Aviv isn't so far...not as far as California. It is WELL worth the trip.

Thanks for posting this.
The bi-location was very interesting and I’d never heard that before. It explains a good deal.
