Blessed are the poor IN SPIRIT. That verse has nothing to do with money.
You are forgetting the one Gospel where all it says is “Blessed are the poor.”
What about the rich man who was going to build a bigger barn, but died that night?
Some people, unfortunately, edit the Beatitudes to their own socialist tastes.

for the kingdom of God is yours.
Quite so but that correct understanding will be met with profound silence and indifference. It’s so much easier to set up a charity and proclaim it is caring for “Christ’s brothers”.
