GELASIAN SACRAMENTARY
An ancient liturgical book, written sometime between the sixth and eighth centuries, but ascribed to Pope Gelasius I (reigned 492-96). It is the oldest known Roman Missal with the feasts arranged according to the ecclesiastical year, and certainly of pre-Gregorian origin. It contains the Roman Canon in practically its present form.
