I had a great aunt whose husband had a big fight with the Jesuits at Georgetown. I have no idea what it was about. But they both left the Church. Some years later, after his death, she went to see a priest about returning to the Church. He gave her such a hard time about having left in the first place that she never went back. What a creep!
