From Citizen Link:
Military Chaplains Sue Over Harassment, Attack on Christian Faith
by Bethany MonkThose who serve our country often greet reveilles before the sunrise. They don the uniform. They represent our country, and they continue to make sacrifice after sacrifice. With the onslaught of government intrusion on religious freedom, some of them are dealing with egregious attacks on their personal faith.
A legal group on Friday filed suit on behalf of two military chaplains. According to the suit, a supervisor with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) mocked their Christian faith, repeatedly, during a chaplain training program. [?!?]
Retired U.S. Army Maj. Steven Firtko and U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Dan Klender began the Clinical Pastoral Education Center program at a San Diego VA last year. Shortly after, they say the programs supervisor, Nancy Dietsch, began harassing their beliefs.
According to the suit, she told them they could not pray in Jesuss name, and she shouted: Do not quote Scripture in this class! while pounding her fists on her desk.
Not only was the treatment these men received inappropriate, it was also a violation of federal law and the religious freedom guarantees of the First Amendment, said retired U.S. Navy Cmdr. J.B. Wells, executive director of Military-Veterans Advocacy (M-VA).
M-VA is representing the Conservative Baptist Association of America, the endorsing agent for the two chaplains.
According to court documents, Dietsch also insisted that God could be a man or a woman and stated that evolution is a fact. The suit says she stated three times that: There is no room in this program for those who believe they are right and everybody else is wrong.
This is what happens when your actions as Commander-in-Chief say that morals and values dont matter anymore in the military, [Ohhhh.... they do matter. But they have to be twisted.] said retired Air Force Col. Bill Spencer, a national representative of family policy councils for Focus on the Family. And then you have all of these other people out there who will interpret that commanders intent in extreme ways. [Or exactly according to the intent of the CinC.]
Klender withdrew from the program in February because of the harassment, according to the lawsuit. Firtko, who was placed on probation by Dietsch, received a letter dated Feb. 15 from the VA notifying him that he would be dismissed from the program on March 1.
No American choosing to serve in the armed forces should be openly ridiculed for his Christian faith, Wells explained. That is most obviously true for chaplains participating in a chaplain training program. [Indeed, no. These are exactly the people you want to attack. Drive chaplains out of the military and the battle is half won.]

What, exactly, is the tender Ms. Nancy so afraid of that it gets her so riled?
” she told them they could not pray in Jesuss name, and she shouted: Do not quote Scripture in this class! while pounding her fists on her desk”
Sounds like Satan speaking.

Sometimes, the irony just writes itself.
“God could be a man or a woman”
What re7ards are being hired?
“God could be a man or a woman”
What re7ards are being hired?
Why have chaplains at all? Why not just have guidance counselors, who can lend a sympathetic ear, and pat soldiers on the back, and inform on them if they appear too likely to kill their own?
Unless they are named Hasan.
Two explanations:
1. Sounds like Satan speaking.
2. What, exactly, is the tender Ms. Nancy so afraid of that it gets her so riled?
Satan and fear.
Thanks for those two MOST plausible explanations, folks.
What re7ards are being hired?
Man haters. That's why they want God to be female.
Jesus was a man...must really irk the man-haters.
They ought to become Hindus. There are some 330 MILLION gods, goddesses, human, animal, plants, objects, palluses body parts, whatever, in the Hindu Pantheon of deity.
My husband was POSITIVE that SOMEwhere in India, SOMEone was worshipping a '65 Chevy.
My husband DID have a 65 Chevy Malibu supersport convertible. He LOVED that car!! He got it in the mid-70's and we kept it for some 15 years.
I wonder if she understands the inherent irony in her statement?

I was considering while in Seminary a few years back of going into the Chaplaincy but I could clearly see the writing on the wall. I spoke with the Chaplains who came by one day. One guy was a liberal but seemed okay. The other guy he was teamed up with was a Unitarian and crazy liberal. I have no doubt there are for real and good chaplains in the military but I know wouldn’t be able to abide by the politically correct rules and it just wouldn’t work for me.
Very soon the US military will not allow anything but some form of state sanctioned scripted heresy and informant to weed out real Christians. So sad to see this nation slide so rapidly into Satanic slavery but God knows who has bowed the knee.
>> God could be a man or a woman
Some 14 years ago, my wife and I had completed year four of EFM (Education for Ministry) through the University of the South (Sewanee, TN), when we were called by our new (female) Episcopal priest, who said that she lacked a quorum to run year four, and needed a few more enrollments to run the course, and would my wife be willing to repeat it.
She agreed; in the first class the priest started the For this year, lets refer to the Deity as female stuff. After a serious WHAT? Do you know what you are saying? (initiated by my wife) and most of the class walked out.
Within two years, the church had blown up and abandoned by people who had attended there for as long as 50 years. Duh.
Satan's minions cannot proclaim God/Jesus as Lord and it hurts them to be around those who do....
My thoughts too when I read it....then again it would never occur to a liberal that anything they would do/think is wrong. Yet another example of their cosmic arrogance.
