You’re going to get some debate on identities. Moses is recorded to have died. Elijah was not. Enoch was not. Therefore a great many Christians believe Enoch and Elijah will be the two witnesses. Not a huge point of contention and certainly open to interpretation among fellow believers. And it will be, lol.

Ummm. We’re dealing with God here, it could be anyone. Moses is dead? No problem.

I am sure... and that is fine but I have a ton of biblical info that states that it is. But whether it is Moses and Elijah or Enoch or Elijah the world's current leaders very well might see them in the not so distant future. That is all part of the prophetic interpretation among believers.
Also the Church when Raptured millions will never see death, and many saw death and were raised from the dead to die again. It's best that we do not limit God and say He can not or will not. But I hear where you are coming from.
Thanks,
Dave

Matthew 17:12
But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands."
