Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

David could have gone on mourning forever for Absalom. However, his adviser finally calls him out on this, and tells him that he MUST resolve his grief in order to govern. His troops have just won a great victory, restored him to his palace and kingdom, and defeated a huge army of enemies. Now it was time to honor his allies and thank them for their service. It was also time to repair his broken family, and bring peace to the Land of Israel.
Family Tragedy can paralyze even the most stalwart of God's Faithful. It is very hard to "Pull Oneself Together" after such horrific loss. It seems, that in the last three years, I have been "Pulling Myself Together" over and over again, one unspeakable tragedy after another. I could not have survived without the LORD.

(FR has been there for me all along, too!)

Come and pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our Families and FRiends, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our beloved Nation.

Indeed you have been through alot and I for one thank you for sharing in all your joys and sufferings...it gives us opportunity to rejoice and weep with those as the LORD instructs us and we become that much closer in heart and spirit.
