Really quite an odd and errant statement.

Wasn’t the Apostle Pauls Salvation based on his own personal experience with Jesus on the road to Damascus? In fact the new testament scriptures had not yet been written, so how could his Salvation have been based on them?

There is also a false hypnotic Salvation experience (One that is most prevalent in the Churches today) We need to be able to discern the difference.

And yes, Scripture can help a person find that experience no doubt.

Yes...it must be a personal experience. One that the church has mostly completely lost!

I should have written, you cannot base your salvation on SOMEONE ELSE’S EXPERIENCE.
