From THE OFFICIAL Mormon Church Web site: The latter-day scriptures clarify that John did not die but was allowed to remain on the earth as a ministering servant until the time of the Lord’s second coming (...3 Ne. 28:6–7; D&C 7).

Yet...yet...yet...

THE right-off-the-bat Mormon missionary lesson that their 80,000 missionaries CURRENTLY teach is that when all the apostles (but John) died "...Christ’s true church did not exist. NO ONE held the authority to act in God’s name."

See: Lds Missionary LESSON 1 – THE RESTORATION OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

What? The apostle John didn't hold the authority to act in God's Name?

Really?

Is that what you Mormon missionaries are telling others? You believe he was afloatin' 'round earth...yet has had zilcho divine authority these past 1900+ years???

We now know what the final battle sounded like on hill Cumorah as hordes of Jewish Indians (aka Lamanites) fired withering storms of arrows at the surrounded hapless Nephites,

“Shizzzzz...Shizzzzz....SHIZZZZZZ!!!”

So total was the slaughter, not one single trace remains.

I had a Mormon tell me that John lost the priesthood because he was “not worthy”. @.@

You gotta think he would stand out in a crowd if that was true.

Maybe it was a word choice glitch.

It should read John was not "martyred."
