After reading the Bible perhaps a 100 times, and studying it’s contents for 33 years, I can say with absolute certainty that the catholic church is not teaching “the faith once delivered to the saints,” and not teaching what Jesus Christ taught as well. It’s a bankrupt religion providing the masses with false hope, and in reality leading them to hell.

How do you know what the Catholic Church teaches if you are not a Catholic?

Are you just taking this on someone’s word? Or believing something you read in a comic pamplet somewhere?

that points the dangers of self-interpretation of the scriptures without a learned leader. If you and 50 other people do exactly as you did, you would have 51 versions of the truth. You have read the bible 100 times...I'm truly impressed because I haven't. The Catholic hierarchy has, however, read scriptures Millions of times and some of the greatest minds in history don't agree with you.

one of the definitions of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.....If you read passage "A" one time and interpret it in a certain way....then the next time you read passage "A", you will interpret it the same way, and if you do it a hundred times, you will come to the conclusion that your way is the correct way.

why not take advantage of the church which has been reading passage "A" for over two thousand years and has, by comparing notes, ideas, interpretations, etc. come to a particular decision as to what the passage means. Maybe they agree with you 100% or maybe you could learn from others just how they came to their results....who knows?..we learn something new every day!!
