**It takes the Holy Spirit living inside a believer to give understanding and discernment.**
Absolutely — along with a lot of study. LOL!
You didn’t answer my question about ever having attended a Catholic Mass. Have you?
No, study not required unless one wants a degree or a convoluted view of God.
The Spirit will guide you as He wants to and will open your eyes to meaning in His word.
Yes, I have been to a mass performed at a wedding in a Catholic church and found it to be very dead and lifeless. Nothing at all like what lives in my heart.
Thanks for asking,
jodyel
Thanks for answering.
LOL! I think you need to drop in at my church. Nothing lifeless or dead. Everyone sings, great homily by the priest and revernt Liturgy of the Eucharist.
It was during the Liturgy of the Eucharist that Scott Hahn realized how much the Scriptures were quoted in the Catholic Mass, and that led to his conversion from Presbyterian to Catholic.
No need, salvation, as I know the Spirit is dead in Catholicism.
And I am fine with hearing all you guys run on and on about your mass, and your eucharist, and your pope, and everything else.
But what I would really love to hear everyone run on and on about is Jesus and the wonderful relationship they have with Him.
I think all this other stuff just gets in the way of truly knowing Him.
I think 10 minutes of intimate worship alone with the Lord is worth all the masses ever said and all the eucharists ever taken. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
**I know the Spirit is dead in Catholicism**
Not true. This may be your interpretation, but you can not blanket the entire Catholic Church with such a statement.
Good grief, you really have not heard a Mass. It is totally focused on Scripture and Jesus.
Take a breather.....
And I do one hour of intimate worship each week. Some people do it daily. Especially in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
Well, I guess we will have to agree to disagree, salvation.
I’ve no interest in a mass. Sorry.
I do take breathers quite often. Have been on one for awhile now.

This is exactly what I believe, so sorry to disappoint. I won’t be leaving the house anytime soon to go anywhere. But me and my bible and the Spirit are enough....always have been.
