I thought Elsie's use of “brethren and sistern” was cute - and was plenty OBVIOUS that he was being humorous. I like to sometimes say, “Ladies and germs”, should I expect a correcting scowl from you teaching me how the word is “gentlemen” not “germs”? Like I said, a sense of humor seems to be sorely lacking in some here. If the shoe fits, wear it.

I laugh at things that are actually funny, not ridiculous or pathetic.

Good for you
- and was plenty OBVIOUS that he was being making a feeble pathetic attempt at being humorous. Fixed it for you. I have laughed at several of his other attempts. This was not funny.
