So this ORAL TEACHING/PREACHING was somehow in contradiction to the Bible? These words that you think he may have said is something new and completely different? I really don't see anything here that says don't trust the Bible or Gods Word is not the final word. All I see is word twisting and scripture twisting to make your Church seem relevant and needed for salvation. Jesus spoke highly of the Word you disdain in John 5:39. Paul believed the Scriptures and says so in Rom 15:4 Psalms 119:105 calls the Word a Lamp unto my feet and a Light unto my path. Deut. 4;2 warns against adding to or subtracting from His commandments Prov. 30:5,6 says "Every Word of God is pure; He is a shield unto that put their trust in Him. Add thou not unto His Words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar."

Then you need reading lessons. It's right there in front of you.

There is nothing in Sacred Tradition that contradicts the Bible. Written and unwritten revelation together constitute a single deposit of the Faith given to the apostles. As the written part testifies.
