I beg to differ.
Jesus said that those who believe in Him already HAVE eternal life.
John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
We believers are already seated with Him in the heavenly places. Our bodies just need to catch up with out spirits.
Ephesians 2:4-7 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Except Mary, apparently. She's dead and rotting in the grave.
Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. If you don’t get it, you don’t get it.
