I’m pretty sure I visited one of these in ‘97.
It was in very bad condition but at least it wasn’t on fire
Looks like they even hit an Evangelical Church. No one is exempt from the pain. Prayer, ping!
Prayers for all these people.

Apparitions of Our Lady of Light, Zeitoun, Egypt [Catholic Caucus]
This is heartbreaking. :(
Islamic zealots attacked 23 Christian churches in Cairo and surrounding regions on August 14, as violence spread after the Egyptian police cleared out camps of protesters supporting the ousted Morsi government.
Father Rafic Greiche, a spokesman for the Catholic Church in Egypt, said that 7 Catholic churches had been attacked, as well as 15 Coptic Orthodox churches and one Protestant church. Last week Father Greiche said that Egyptian Christians are living in fear because of Islamic violence; he has criticized the Western media for its failure to report the attacks on Christians.
The violence directed against Christian targets reflects the beliefwidely held by supporters of the Muslim Brotherhoodthat Christians in Egypt conspired to bring down the Morsi government.
Just like Obama. When the going gets rough- round up a Coptic Christian and hang HIM.
They’re looking for scapegoats. They’ve decided on the Coptics.
It’s like Kristall Night in Germany.
“I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worth to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed to us. “ wrote St. Paul in Rom. 8:18.
The Christians will have the final and eternal victory.
I was wandering around the live coverage at reuters and came across this:

A group of activist journalists has put together an informal list of every church, monastery, and Christian institution that was reported to have been attacked by the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt on Wednesday: nilerevolt.wordpress.com (While many examples have already been confirmed by international press, Reuters cannot independently confirm each example at this time.) by Margarita Noriega (Reuters) 8/14/2013 11:00:23 PM 7:00 PM

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, in the company of saints in heaven, amen.
I agree with those calling for fervent prayers, praying the Rosary, etc. for our Christian brothers and sisters in Egypt.
As someone else has said here, these horrific attacks remind one of disgusting Nazi acts of terrorism in the past, and are also reminiscent of the Satanic persecution of the early Christian Church, both during, and right after the New Testament times.
These are the Muslim Brotherhood terrorists who were strongly backed by B.O. Remember this story from just a few short months ago?
"As Egypt unravels, Team Obama increases support for Muslim Brotherhood"Meanwhile, right now, B.O. (along with his anti-Christian team) is doing his best to defeat the Church by various means, such as his HHS mandate, his goals and actions for "homosexual marriage" / "hate speech", homosexuals in the military and everywhere else, abortion, euthanasia, assisted suicide, his backing of these anti-Christian terrorists and others like them, and many other areas. So far, the persecution of Christians in America is still mostly just legal and structural, but who can still strongly doubt any more that vicious, violent persecution of Christians is likely right around the corner, right here in the USA, with this evil bunch of perverted tyrants?
They're burning out Copts in hopes of getting the military involved so they have pictures of Egyptian troops protecting Christian churches. Even if that doesn't work, they figure the new government will issue permits to allow the churches to be rebuilt and the MB can make an issue of Christian churches being built.
Had they stayed in power the burning of Christian churches, businesses, and homes would have been done sooner or later so even if they can't get the propaganda issue they want right now, they figure they'll have at least accomplished one of their goals.
JMHO
Where are these guys when you need them?
Regarding the attacks on Coptic Christian churches... Yesterday Coptic Orphans sent out an appeal for funds to help rebuild the churches.

Consider contributing as a matter of Christian solidarity. When the jihadists come they are not going to ask your views on the Council of Chalcedon, the Filioque, or Sola Scriptura. They’re just going to behead you.
