You make it obvious that you do not study Yehova’s word.

We need not assume anything, that is all in his domain.

No. That is how David interpreted the death of the child.

Interesting. Did David write 2 Samuel 12? I ask because if he did, that would explain your post. If he didn’t, it would seem a more difficult point of view to hold honestly.

Ok, I’ll leave you in peace to rationalize the murder of new born babies.

David did not, nor do we know who did. Asa to your statement, I simply reject the proposition as you formulate it. Was it the will of God that the children die. Obviously. Ditto, the first-born of the Egyptians, including the pharoah’s son, in order to soften the pharoah’s will to let the People go. But if God is creator, he chooses that we all die, including those who have committed no personal sin, or rather we all die because Adam chose death over life with God.

200 years before the probable date of the Exodus

Or the probable date of Exodus is wrong. A significant problem in ancient archaeology is trying to find records. People were less literate and writing and copying a book was more expensive than it is today.

the writers of the Bible were quite capable of inserting divine commands into accounts of flawed human actions, in order to justify their ancestors behavior.

Or the events happened as described, but we cannot conceive of a loving God that would smite people in the manner presented in Tanakh. God is not bound by natural law.

Question: Is it true that all men have souls?...Scripture tells us that an enemy sowed seeds in with Gods seeds planted...When informed by an angel, God said no do not pull them up (weeds) for you might also pull up the good seed I have sowed (paraphrased). Would the seeds sowed by the enemy have the same souls (or spirits) as those planted by God. Just a question for discussion if anyone wants to add their opinion..

I was just wondering....GG

No -is my answer. remember there are different kinds of seeds, as there are different kinds of plants. The parable clearly describes two very similar plants that are so similar in their early stages it is very difficult to tell which is which—until it is time to harvest. Also if two seed are planted in the same hole and grow if one pulls the bad seed they may well damage the good.-as the roots become enmeshed.A seed may well have the spirit of a seed—but the genetics are different—even as there are both male and female all born of the same seed.
