Syrian Christians are asking why the United States supports extremists who want to turn Syria into an Islamic state.
That testimony came during a congressional hearing on Syria's religious minorities Tuesday.
Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., who chairs the House Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health and Human Rights, called on President Barack Obama to defend the rights of Syrian Christians.
In an opening statement at Tuesday's hearing, Smith said statistics show "that Christians are even more fearful for their lives and safety than other segments of the Syrian population."
Nina Shea, director of the Hudson Institute's Center for Religious Freedom, testified that Islamic insurgents are targeting Christians for "ethno-religious cleansing."

I can give you a lot of names of republicans who are blasting Obama for not sending the rebels “enough” weapons and heavy firepower.
I do know that obama is AN anti-Christ, I do not think he is THE anti-Christ, but in fact the precursor.
I've said this before, when he was first elected, and I'll say it again, now, for I have seen no evidence at all to make me revise my initial assessment. He is the understudy stand in, placed in the 'dress rehearsal' version of 'the role' for the real deal. His primary purpose was to ensure that the machinery worked, that machinery which would propel an obscure nobody into the very summit of power, almost overnight, and without any serious attempt at vetting the 'vaulted one'. In short, while the *real* Antichrist is still waiting in the wings, this guy isn't him.
With all that said, remember when I said 'dress rehearsal'? Those here with some knowledge of the theater, and theater production will understand what I mean. Dress rehearsal is the final rehearsal of the entire show, before the curtain comes up on opening night, and the play goes public. When is it traditionally done? The afternoon of opening night, thus, if I am reasonably correct in my assessments, the 'real deal' is very close to arriving, and the curtain will be going up quite shortly on 666 Productions Company's premiere presentation of "The Antichrist"...

The Federal is waging war against all Christians. It has been for a while, but has stepped things up under our first Muslim President.
