I’m no Mormon apologist as I believe it is a false religion; however, this article comes from a site called “Hebrew Translation”. How do we know this site is not biased? Did these doctrinal changes in their “bible” actually happen? What do the Mormons say?

Well, you can check this Mormon apologist link, where they admit there are 105,000 differences between the current book and the original manuscript:

http://www.fairlds.org/fair-conferences/2002-fair-conference/2002-changes-in-the-book-of-mormon

Most of their examples don’t seem to be doctrinal changes, but trivial things like changing grammar and punctuation. I don’t think there is any need to make doctrinal changes to the BoM, because they have “living prophets”, who just have to say the word, and it overrules anything in those documents anyway.

EVERY site is biased in one way or another.

THIS one is quite heavily biased toward Conservatism!!

My question is: Why would a Catholic try to help out Mormonism?
