He believes the Bible has not been translated correctly over the years, that people have translated it to favor their own agenda - especially to promote a homophobic view. So he thinks that gives him the right to dismiss the verses that do not support his view of the world. In his world sin is not sin and Jesus did not die a substitutionary death. It’s all about love, love, love. He is all about inclusion, which is correct, God does not exclude anyone from salvation, but he drops the ball when it comes to calling sin sin. I wonder where he draws the line. Will pedophiles or those who want to be in plural marriages or couples who want to just live together instead of or before marriage be accepted with the same vigor as gays? If a man is in love with his goat, will they be welcomed to stay and worship in his church? We are to love the sinner and hate the sin. You can love someone and yet not accept their lifestyle. But if you don’t believe the Bible to be Gods written word to us then you can pretty much do and say whatever you want, there are no absolutes.
We need to stop using the term “homophobic” — I’m not afraid of gays or have a phobia about them — being anti-perversion is not a mental illness as the homosexuals want to convey
I have heard that often, but struggle with the truth of it.
Is that in the Bible?
If you set off bombs at public events, or molest children; I hate your friggen guts. Am I wrong?
