REGRETS (Vanity)

REGRETS Dearest Lord, receive here my regrets, my sorrows for having offended You. I am so sorry; there is nothing I can do to undo the damages I have inflicted on Your all-loving heart and on souls. I can only now beg Your forgiveness and mercy which I know You will grant me with fullness of joy and kindness. My Lord is slow in anger and full of compassion; He knows full well my poverty, my miserable weakness, my total dependence upon His generosity. I come to You, O Lord, like a beggar for Your riches, like a gravest sinner to his Savior, like a prodigal son to his Beloved Father. My life is Yours with all its defects, falls, failures, and mistreatments. I throw myself at Your feet begging for Your goodness. In distress I reach out for Him my Beloved as I am not capable of going further without Him. Lord, help me to be more watchful of my wretchedness so that I will no longer hurt You tomorrow and days after. The extent of Your Love for me can only be captured by the immensity of my weakness. For that, Lord, I offer You now my heart which is healed by the palm of Your pierced Hand. Amen

You made an impact on me. Thank you for that. May you receive the full knowledge of the Joy that can only come from Jesus Christ.

This would make a great collective prayer for our country.

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered.  Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.  Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies.  Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.  Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight.  Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, others may be jealous.  Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will forget tomorrow.  Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be good enough.  Give the world the best you have anyway.
You see, in the analysis it is between you and God.  It was never between you and "them" anyway.

Mother Theresa.

PRAYER FOR OUR COUNTRY

O my Jesus, You said, "verily I say to you, whatsoever you shall ask the Father in My name, He will give it to you."  Behold, in your name I humbly ask our Heavenly Father to protect every man, woman, and child in our great nation from those who want to delete your name from our society, i.e. on our money, in our courts, and in our schools.  Protect us from plans of destruction from which our enemies have plotted.

You, Heavenly Father, are the real foundation of our nation.  I thank you for making me a citizen of this land of freedom and unlimited opportunity...which are the results of its Christian base.

Please surround and protect us, and our military with Your love and mercy...in Jesus' name.
Amen

An Act
of
Contrition

O my God,
I am heartily sorry for
having offended Thee,
and I detest all my sins,
because I dread the loss of heaven,
and the pains of hell;
but most of all because
they offend Thee, my God,
Who are all good and
deserving of all my love.
I firmly resolve,
with the help of Thy grace,
to confess my sins,
to do penance,
and to amend my life.

Amen.

Your prayer is my prayer, too. Lord, hear our prayers. Forgive our ignorances and sins and teach, shape and lead us as you created us to be and do. Let us walk with you, hear you and talk with you.

This is a beautiful prayer and it touched my heart: I will make it my own.

May our dear Lord grant you the mercy and healing your soul needs always.
