The doctrine of my Church is contained in the Scriptures. Guess what? I am getting used to this kind of nonsense. The pioneers of my Church were persecuted and driven out of every place they called home - including women and children - until they finally reached the Salt Lake valley. All of their belongings had been stolen and many had died. What was their great offense? Religion - in a country where freedom of religion is supposed to be promised in the U.S. Constitution, a document that my Church holds dear.

What has changed? Some people still hold the same ill-conceived opinions about me and my Church. Fact remains that Jesus Christ is our Savior, Lord, Redeemer and Soon-Coming King. He is the Head of the Church.

You will know them by their fruit.

Have a great day.

And the words of your “prophets” are scripture.

Words of Our Living Prophets

In addition to these four books of scripture, the inspired words of our living prophets become scripture to us. Their words come to us through conferences, the Liahona or Ensign magazine, and instructions to local priesthood leaders. “We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God” (Articles of Faith 1:9).

Straight from your LDS website.

Why are you working so hard to avoid addressing this simple and clear fact.

The doctrine of my Church is contained in the Scriptures.

Then just HOW do you explain all the stuff that happens in your beloved Temples?

Ain't NONE of that ritual found in your 'scriptures'.

Who; evidently; needs a LOT of help from Joseph Smith! (Whom you have IGNORED in reply #19)

In post 42, how could I have forgotten the persecution card? When you can't answer with substance, try for pity.

Why is it that other alternative religious orders (Amish, Mennonites, Shakers, etc.) could settle in the same areas and not have such problems with their neighbors? It might have something to do with not starting phony banks which defrauded citizens or physically destroying newspapers which printed critical stories of the religion (criticisms which historians have proven were true). These events forced the Mormons out of Ohio and Illinois, respectively. Reading non-Mormon histories of the time and you're struck by the similarity of the behavior of Mormons of the 1800s and Muslims today. When either achieve a significant minority status in an area, they cease being good neighbors. (Certainly, today's Mormons are not as ill-behaved as their ancestors.)

Some people still hold the same ill-conceived opinions about me and my Church.

You keep claiming that but you never disprove anything. Could that be because these "opinions" are based on LDS material, itself? To refute the "opinions", you'll find yourself arguing against your own authorities.

Fact remains that Jesus Christ is our the Savior, Lord, Redeemer and Soon-Coming King. He is the Head of the true and universal Church which doesn't include any of the false teaching of Joseph Smith .

Fixed it for you.

” Guess what? I am getting used to this kind of nonsense.”

I guess you would have to be pretty used to your nonsense to repeat it so blatantly. Other than yourself, who do you think you’re fooling? I think we can all safely read what your Prophets and Apostles said about their own writings and discourses.

“The pioneers of my Church were persecuted and driven out of every place they called home -”

I’d rather lose my home than get castrated by a Mormon Bishop who wanted my fiance as his 4th wife:

So when do you plan to join the FLDS so you don’t go to hell for violating Brigham Young’s Discourse/Scripture?
