When Torey-The-Dog had to cross the Rainbow Bridge, FR was there for me.

When my Dad, a Navy Veteran of WW2 and Korea, died after a long Battle with Alzheimers, FR was there for me.

When I lost my house to foreclosure, FR was there for me.

Yes...all the stuff happened in the space of two years. The response of our FRiends here on FR was overwhelming.

In fact, FR was better to me than my own family.

Dear potlatch, I did not know that you lost your daughter 6 months ago. I lost my 18 year old son in ‘84 so I am very familiar with what you are going through. The pain will ease, I promise, it doesn't go completely away but it will ease. You will get your life back. God Bless you.

Well, she’s still in California, poor thing, and I’m in Ohio, so I’ll never see her again, LOL!

The thing was that we weren’t friends, and we never spoke except when she was making insane assumptions about my personal life.

One of these days, she’s going to wake up on the floor with her own shiner and wonder why she got cold-cocked.

She really was the ultimate busybody.
