We lost our little Pom-Pom a few weeks ago so we know the pain.

Take care of yourself and wee Halla.

Blessings to you as you dealt with all her health challenges along the way.

It must be so difficult to lose a child. God be with you.

I try so hard and get nowhere.

Everything I’ve loved most dearly is either old, sick or dead.

I’m very weary.
_____________________________________________

May God renew your strength. May He carry you when you are too tired to walk. What a blessing you have been to those you cared for and died. It cost you mightily - I am not making light of that, but what a blessing it is to be loved and cared for while old, sick or dying (whether pet friend or human friend). It’s possible that your care is God’s gift to those you have served and continue to serve. But God would never forget you nor does He consider your tears cheap or your life expendable.
I pray that God will restore your strength and heal those you care for. I pray that He comfort your broken heart so that you can look for the next day’s sunrise with more than exhaustion. This terrible days must feel eternal but they are not. When in my deepest sorrow I remind myself that nothing stays the same - even if my life were going perfectly it wouldn’t last -everything changes. So too, this deep valley of a pain you are in will not last. Prayers up.

One more try (I’m an idiot.)

I couldn’t come up with a prayer of the quality you sent my small family when our darling Jan was leaving us, but I’ll send my prayers your way. God bless your family, and may your daughter find comfort in His loving arms.

Did you have a daughter die too? It has to be so painful to watch a child die.

Prayers for you.

Oh Sal, I’m so sorry. Life is going through a particularly sucky spell lately. I haven’t read the whole thread. Praying hard first.

This is a grief recovery weekend patterned after the Marriage Encounter weekend for anyone who has lost a loved one. (Includes separation and divorce, too.)

Why are mods removing posts?

Are people saying nasty things or something?

No, my children’s mom. I don’t know how I could handle the loss of a child.

Sigh.

Lord have mercy on us all.

Lord God,

Oh how attached we become to the things in this world you've given us for our pleasure...and yours... as you see us enjoy those blessings...But sometimes losses and or threat of losses can be overwhelming, though we know all things are in your hands concerning us.

Lord we ask you minister in a very unique way to Sal as they wait thru this time of uncertainty with her precious pet....help them to rest in your good will for them and to trust you no matter the outcome...for you do all things well.

You will be done in this matter Lord...and may your name be high and lifted up for it...

Amen

She’s His, now.

Obviously all the things I do don’t really matter when it comes down to it.

I hope He spares her life yet again.

Please don’t give up on yourself. Let God.

As for your pup, was she dazed the whole time or only after starting meds?

You said she hit a crate. Travel crates are plastic. I’d find it hard to believe she hit so as to have a concussion. Unless she activated another.

Is it possible she hit around her ear canal and messed up her balance mechanisms?

Just trying to think of ideas.

Praying for all of you that things will get better.
