An Army chaplain who the White House says braved "withering enemy fire" to provide medical aid and comfort to fellow soldiers during the Korean War is receiving the Medal of Honor more than 60 years after his death.
President Barack Obama was awarding the nation's highest military honor to Capt. Emil Kapaun (Kah-PAHWN) at a White House ceremony Thursday. Members of Kapaun's family were expected to attend.

I’m sure Fr Kapaun richly deserves the Medal of Honor, but am I the only one who feels that this has been staged to benefit the kenyan usurper and not honor the valor of Fr Kapaun?
I guess the paperwork was under the budget in the stack of “to do” stuff... 60 years? Really?

As I commented to my wife after watching a segment on this on last night’s CBS news and noting his vestments:
“That’s funny - they did an entire segment on him and his heroism, and never mentioned that he was a Roman-Catholic priest; and yet, if he had molested someone, it would be the first thing noted.”
