BTW, the modern left are more like the flat earthers that they accuse others of being. Their claim is that there are people who are not able to better themselves so the rest of us must restrict ourselves to their standards.
The only use they have for the concept of evolution is to beat others on the head with it ~ they have no beliefs about the process, if it exists, or if it has meaning. Just listen to their squeals at the mention of the terms EPIGENETICS or METHYLATION.

Exactly, spirited . . .
So, it turns out that Nietzsche (and Orwell) were right (at least about some things).

Spirited. Yes, but look what hides behind their pseudo-concern: green-eyed envy. Envy is comprised of pride (self-love), jealousy, covetousness and hate, and is the great leveler of socialism, redistribution schemes, progressive taxation, hate crime and speech codes and much more.

Outstanding, spirited! I'm going to "steal" that sometime.

Spirited: Please do! I say that because deep within the psyche of the envious is shame and fear of exposure. Exposure is what’s needed for the same reason that dark things shun light. Exposure brings shame. Shame at the very least, leads to fear of repeat offense for fear of exposure.
Envy is a spiritual pathology that can and will lead to murder, as it did with Cain who envied Able. The cycle begins with transference of guilt from the envious to the object of envy followed by psychological bullying (crucifixion of spirit) and taking of things (destruction of spiritual virtues, theft of good name, temporal goods) then comes physical crucifixion.
Only our Lord the Physician of souls can heal the envy-bitten soul. But until and unless the spiritually sick soul seeks healing we must resort to strategic deterrence methods, i.e., exposure.

It’s not that they misunderstand the Bible. It’s that they reject its authority.

Seems to me these people do not love God with all their hearts, minds and souls (Matt 22:38) for if they did, they would hang on His every word and want everything He wants and nothing He abhors.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. - 2 Timothy 3:1-5

Hi AG!
I think these things happen because "faith cometh by hearing"
I think that the above holds true for pretty much everyone to some degree. What you hear the most is what you will,in your heart, trust the most and what you trust deep in your heart is what will direct the way you think. And I suppose the way we think would determine to a large degree how we see the world. It's why propaganda works.
The "god of this world" has been busy undermining believers trust, deep down inside,of the reality of God's word by bombarding the senses with everything including the kitchen sink to the contrary. He's been doing it a long time and the effectiveness of his railing has expoded in the last century. To the point where we are practically swimming in an anti-christ current.
No wonder Jesus said the work of God is to believe!Because most everything in this world incuding our own deceitfull heart is against God and is against confronting that which is "a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" It's sad so many have had their spiritual senses dulled to the point where we may well be living on the very cusp of the most stupendous event in the history of the cosmos and many are too busy with religion to see it.
We need to "test all things" big time and hold every thought captive.Hold it,turn it around and give it a good inspection before allowing it to continue on down to reside with the rest of our 'baggage'.If we don't our own heart will be slowly but surely lead to man's wisdom. In spite of what we may think we believe it's what we do that will tell us what's going on in our heart."For as a man thinketh in his heart,so he is"
The so-called christian left and no doubt the rest of us,need to check what we are hearing 'cause wether we do or not it will eventually end up determining to a big degree what we really do have faith in.And that sort of deep down faith can't be faked, for good or for bad.
Sorry for the rant but it's better than turnin' blue.

Thank you so much for sharing your insights, dear mitch5501!
I think that the above holds true for pretty much everyone to some degree. What you hear the most is what you will,in your heart, trust the most and what you trust deep in your heart is what will direct the way you think.
Truly said. Repetition works. However, the words of God will not "sink in" regardless of repetition and even accompanying signs and miracles - unless He has given a person the gift of "ears to hear."
And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land; The great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles: Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day. And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot. - Deuteronomy 29:2-5
And when we do have the gift of "ears to hear" His words are nourishment to our souls. We hang on His every word - they are life and spirit to us, i.e. alive in us.
But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. - Psalms 1:2 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matt 4:4
Give us this day our daily bread. Matt 6:11
I am that bread of life. John 6:48
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life. - John 6:63
Truly, to know Him is to love Him. Or put another way, knowing the Scriptures is one thing, but knowing the Author is something else. To those without "ears to hear" Scriptures are just like any other manuscript, dead letters. But He indwells us.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. - Matt 22:29 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. - Romans 8:9
We who do have "ears to hear" continue to thrive on His words and gain understanding. And God Himself becomes more important to us than anything or anyone else. Only then can we keep the one and only Great Commandment:
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.
And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matthew 22:35-40
A person who loves God this way - surpassingly above all else - will want everything that He wants and nothing that He abhors. Conversely, if they still want what He abhors, then they are idolators - loving themselves or someone or something else more than Him.
When that happens, He hands them over to a reprobate mind:
And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. - Romans 1:28-32
Thus I aver that these people (the Christian Left in the article) evidently do not love God with all their hearts, minds and souls. God's Name is I AM.

Through out the Bible, it mentions being on the right side, right hand and on the left side or left hand. Each of those are saying in scripture that that on the right is good and those on the left are wrong. Such as the Sheep’s and Goats Judgment. God separates the goats on the left and His sheep on the right. Thus tells me that the left is wrong and the right is RIGHT!
