You come take over a month of my life, Father Z, and Ill go march for stuff ... or get off my case.
It would seem to me that Christian Mothers with infants/small children would probably be more effective Evangelists for the Lord, by personal/social interactions with non-Christian Mothers with infants/small children.
Young/new Mothers are likely to need lots of support from someone who has "been there, done that", and receiving social and moral support, and faith sharing, from Christian Mothers, on an inter-personal level, would seem to me to be more effective than marching/hoisting signs/etc.
Just a thought, not a negative comment on the Pope, or his intentions.
My mother’s name is Patricia.
Y a su madre Patricia, VICTORIA!
That’s my name as well.
:)
“[Actually, the angels were the first... but let that pass.]”
Good lord. Really?
It’s a good name. I have a son, Patrick, named after her, as well as a son William for my father.
He’s a little proud of himself. You may recall one of our household rules (observed only in the breach), “If any sentence is going to include the word ‘actually,’ don’t bother to say it.”
I understood that the author was requesting marching of mothers, not the Pope. (I would just have sighed if it was from the Pope, because he’s not extremely annoying.)
I find that being out in public with a large group of children gives me many opportunities to tell people how good God is, and how children are a reward ... especially the outrageously excellent Gunner Anoreth, of course.
I like the name Patrick. It’s wonderful you named your children after your Mom and Dad. God Bless and Keep you and your precious family.
Thank you! We also have children named for my parents-in-law, various historical figures, and finally, by the 8th and 9th, nobody in particular ;-).
